The Gunnersare set to face both Villarreal and Athletic Club on the Wednesday and Saturday in the final week before the Premier League season begins. Mikel Arteta takes his side to Old Trafford on Sunday 17 August where they will kick-off their campaign against Manchester United.

The striker’s arrival sparked a surge of orders on the club website which are understood to have broken the record for an individual signing. Gyokeres will be welcomed by the Emirates crowd but not in the new third strip.
Arsenal could wear the kit, which is believed to be of a white design with nostalgic links to the 2007/08 kit which featured burgundy accents, at Old Trafford although it might be more likely they wear the dark blue patterned away shirt instead. The next opportunity would be away to Liverpool on August 31.
Any new signings made by the club from Monday onwards are expected to be marketed in the new third kit following the announcement.
This could include Eberechi Eze who the club remain keen on adding to the squad this summer with hope over an agreement being found with Crystal Palace.
