Indian Institute of Management, i.e., IIM Kozhikode, has started the registration process for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 from today, i.e., 1st August. Candidates wishing to take admission in IIM institutes across the country can apply for the exam by visiting the official websiteiimcat.ac.in. Candidates will have until 5 pm on 13 September 2025 to apply. For this, the entrance exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in three sessions on 30 November 2025.

Admit card for the Common Admission Test, i.e., CAT 2025 exam, can be issued between 5 November and 30 November 2025. This exam will be conducted in about 170 cities across the country. Candidates have been given the option to choose 5 examination centers, and the city in which they want to take the exam. According to the CAT notification, the result of this entrance exam can be announced in the first week of January next year.

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Graduates can apply

Young people thinking of taking admission in IIM who have a graduation degree can apply for the CAT 2025 exam, provided they have graduated with at least 50 percent marks. However, the minimum marks for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Divyang candidates have been fixed at 45 percent. Graduation final year students can also apply for the CAT exam.

CAT 2025 Registration Fee: How much is the registration fee?

Candidates of all categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3000 for the CAT exam, whereas earlier the registration fee was Rs 2500. At the same time, the registration fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Divyang categories has been fixed at Rs 1300, whereas earlier the fee was Rs 1250. Candidates should note that the fee, once deposited, will not be refunded.

First of all, go to the official website of CAT iimcat.ac.in.

Then register with your valid email and mobile number.

After that, fill in your personal, educational, and work experience details.

Now upload the required documents like your photo, sign and category certificate.

After that pay the application fee.

Then submit your form and download the confirmation page.
