Netflix viewers have been left shocked after watching a 'crazy' new crime series. The streaming service launched Love Con Revenge onto the platform on Saturday and it follows fraud victim Cecilie Fjellhøy, who first found part of The Tinder Swindler, and private investigator Brianne Joseph as they join forces to look into various romance scams.
In the six-part programme, Cecile and Brianne track down con artists who lie about themselves to those looking for love on online dating sites and apps. The pair look into those who have been tricked into handing over money once they mistakenly think they have entered into a loving relationship.
Viewers could not get enough of the series and flooded social media with their reactions. One viewer said, "I'm watching it right now. It's really good. I'm hooked," while another said, "I can't believe this happens to people! Some of the stories are shocking, and I feel so sorry for the victims. It's very well put together and worth a watch."

Another said: "I’m watching ‘Love Con Revenge’ and man, some women are so generous with their money, how are they getting scammed like this??" and a fourth said: "This love con revenge show is crazy. Women really be giving up money to men they hardly know."
A fifth fan agreed, as they wrote: "Watching Love Con Revenge on Netflix and I'm really dying cuz these b****** really got scammed out of like millions!"
Piling in on the shock, another said: "I’m watching this docuseries on Netflix ‘Love Con Revenge’ and I also saw a story time on TikTok about a babe doing the same thing - why THE F*** are you giving large sums of money to someone you’ve known for just a month??? Are you Barclays? I’m confused!"
Another added: "Love Con Revenge on Netflix is so crazy. At what point does common sense kick in when you've already given a man over $50,000, and he hasn't paid you back but keeps asking for more? And the men.. preying on women and being so emotionally manipulative."

Cecilie alleges she was a victim of Hayut, a convicted fraudster from Israel who was the subject of the Netflix hit series The Tinder Swindler in 2022. He used dating apps to meet multiple women, wining and dining them before setting up lines of credit and loans in their names.
Speaking about the new series, Fjellhøy said in a statement: "I never imagined my personal story would resonate the way it has. Since The Tinder Swindler, I’ve heard from people all over the world who’ve been targeted by criminals hiding behind love.
"Love Con Revenge is a way for me to use what I’ve learned to help others heal, reclaim their voices, their power and their lives."
