BBC fans who tuned into the latest episode of Destination X were left "shouting" at the TV screen as the rest of the contestants battled it out to make it to the final. After the latest episode revealed that Destination X was in Venice, the blacked-out bus made its way through Europe to its next destination. However, the players were then ordered to get off the bus and were taken to a fake police station, where they were quizzed by host Rob Brydon. During the interrogation scenes, fans noticed that there were posters of clues on the walls, revealing hints of where the next destination was.
One person posted on X: "Got me shouting LOOK AT THE POSTERS at the TV." Another commented: "5 minutes in, and I think they are in Croatia #DestinationX." A third also typed: "They should be arrested for the start of this episode being so boring #DestinationX."
After the players were given an option to take or reject an advantage by Rob Brydon, they all regathered on the bus. The episode then saw tensions flare as Nick and Saskia entered a frosty exchange.
Nick, who is an endurance athlete, clashed with Saskia after she claimed that he had been complaining throughout the entire trip, highlighting that his "negative energy" wasn't helping.
He shot back that he gets through challenges due to his strong mentality, before Saskia lashed out at him and called him "privileged" and began to get emotional.
After completing a memory challenge, three players were sent to the Map Room. Nick, Saskia, and Josh debated individually about where they were in Europe.
Meanwhile, the remaining three players were exempt from elimination. In the end, host Rob Brydon revealed that the next person to leave the competition was Nick.
Fans were left gutted on social media, with one person saying: "#DestinationX I thought Nick was likely to be a winner!" Another also commented: "Noooooooo way gutted #DestinationX."
A third also said: "That's it not watching this anymore! My winner is out! Absolutely gutted! #destinationx." It was revealed that the destination was in Pula in Croatia.
Destination X continues on BBC One at 9pm on Thursday.
