The wait is finally over as BBC's brand-new drama The Guest is being released this month, starring the likes of Welsh actresses Eve Myles and Gabrielle Creevy.
Across four episodes, viewers will watch the complex dynamic between two women, which Eve recently explained as 'dangerous'.
When a successful business owner, Fran (played by Eve), hires a woman she barely knows to be her cleaner, Ria (Gabrielle Creevy), things seem to be going well.
Their lives are thrown upside down when an unexpected event unfolds, resulting in their lives becoming intertwined by dangerous plots and shared secrets.
However, amidst the chaos unfolding, there are some gorgeous locations around Wales that are featured, including Whitson Court near Newport.
Ahead of the series being released, Reach Plc spoke to the actress to find out more about filming in the stunning home.
Eve Myles commented: "The house is in the area of Newport, it's on the outskirts of Newport. It is the most exquisite house I have ever stepped foot into.
"They have done the most beautiful job on that house, there were peacocks in the garden and it's just absolutely beautiful.
"A former zoo, apparently! It's got an incredible history, the building, that's the first time that location has been shot at, it's just magnificent."
The house was once home to Whitson Zoo in the 1960s and 1970s and was owned by Olive Maybury.
It had a collection of animals from monkeys, lions and Himalayan bears, however, it closed in the 1980s.
Speaking about filming at the jaw-dropping location, executive producer Davina Earl confessed that finding Fran's house was one of their biggest tasks.
She commented: "How can we find a house that gives us everything we needed from the scripts? and we couldn't believe it when we found Whitson Court.
"The house does everything we needed it to, and it's breathtakingly beautiful. It's such a special place, not just the house but the grounds, the garden, all the land. It's magical.
Another location seen in The Guest is Rhossili Bay, where Fran takes Ria away on a trip to the coast, where their relationship hierarchy becomes apparent.
The Guest, will premiere on BBC One at 9:00 PM on Monday, September 1
