Despite posting gushing posts on Instagram promoting her new wine, Meghan Markle's 2024 Napa Valley rosé from her As Ever brand has still not managed to sell out. The Duchess of Sussex released her rosé on August 5, but more than two weeks later, it is still available to buy on the website.
On August 4, the team at As Ever shared another clip of the wine being poured into a glass, with the caption: "Cheers to summer's final sips. Fill your glass with our founder's favourite pour, available for a limited time." The post appears to be an attempt to boost sales after it failed to match the quick sell-out of the 2023 wine's launch - which sold out in under one hour.
Customers can buy the wine, which is described as "delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit" in batches of three, six, or twelve. However, some may think the wine still being available to buy is a sign of less success, one expert told Express.co.uk that it instead simply shows that the brand has sorted its stock issues.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: "I think it's a good thing that the new wine drop hasn't sold out yet - it shows that they have solved the problem with stock issues - no one wants to come and buy something that's constantly sold out!"
