Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, 37, and professional partner Karen Hauer, 43, were given the boot following a tense dance-off on Sunday leaving Strictly Come Dancing fans furious. La Voix and partner Aljaz Skorjanec found themselves in the bottom two but were unanimously saved by the judges vote after performing their foxtrot. Just hours before the results show, the Strictly mole had revealed which star had been voted out of the competition, as fans fumed "not fair".
Brendan Cole, a former show legend, has claimed the judges made the "wrong decision" by sending Harry home. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk on behalf of Sky Vegas, the 49 year old dancer admitted he "cannot work out" why La Voix stayed over the Gladiators athlete.
And now some fans believe bosses are pushing La Voix towards Blackpool Week, which takes place in two weeks.
A foxtrot without technique is just someone trotting around the floor, and that's what she did, both on Saturday and in the results show. The samba had a specific technique that made it what it was, and Harry delivered that."
Brendan concluded, "So, if he's doing the dance technically right, and she's not, and their performances are on par - which they were - I don't see how they saved her. It just doesn't make sense. It was completely the wrong decision."
Sadly, Harry - who was slammed for flashing his abs - bid farewell to the Strictly dancefloor after failing to win over the judges.
However, show fans have claimed La Voix was saved as she's being lined up to fill the show's vacant hosting role.
Last month, The Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman, 53, and Tess Daly, 56, announced their plans to step down from their iconic role.
One wrote on X: "La Voix?? Is that because she's being lined up as a future presenter?"
A second said: "100 per cent La Voix and Alja should have gone home. Harry and Karen were definitely the better dancers. The judges are clearly only saving La Voix because she's going to be the new Strictly Come Dancing presenter."
A third added: "I agreed, I was shocked they were all in consensus."
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday at 6.30pm
